Exporting your data
Download a full copy of your account data, in plain JSON files, any time.
Updated April 15, 2026
Your data on ShoutXChange is yours. You can download a full copy any time, in a normal file format that any tool can read.
What is in the export
Everything we have on your account:
- Your sign-up info. Email, name, date you joined.
- Every campaign you ran.
- Every match, with the date and outcome.
- Every credit move in and out, with the reason.
- Every invoice and receipt.
- Every page you connected, with the dates.
- Every notification we sent you.
We do not include other creators' private info. If a trade was with @velvet, you see "@velvet" but not their email or fan list. That is theirs to share.
How to start an export
- Go to Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Click Export my data.
- Confirm.
We start the export. Big accounts can take a few minutes. There is a lot to gather. We send you an email when it is ready.
How you get the file
When the export is done, the email has a download link. Click it within seven days. The link expires after that for safety. If you miss the window, just start a new export.
The file is a normal ZIP. Inside are JSON files, one per topic. JSON is plain text. You can open it in any text editor. There is also a friendly README inside that explains what each file holds.
What you can do with the export
It is yours. Some uses:
- Keep a backup before a long break.
- Move your records to your accountant for taxes.
- Compare numbers between months.
- Build a chart in a spreadsheet.
Limits
You can run an export once a day. This stops a runaway script from making us build a huge file every minute. Once a day is plenty for any normal use.
If you need more. Say, an audit team needs old data weekly. Contact us. We can set you up with a custom plan.
What if I want my data wiped?
That is a different thing. See the article on deleting your account. Export saves a copy. Delete removes the originals. Most people who want a clean break do both. Export first, then delete.
Is there a charge?
No. Exports are free. We treat data export as part of being a fair platform. Your data is yours, full stop.
