Deleting your account
How to permanently remove your ShoutXChange account, what gets erased, and what we are required to keep.
Updated April 15, 2026
If you want to leave ShoutXChange for good, you can. We make it easy and clean.
Before you start
Two things to do first:
- Run an export if you want a copy of your records. Once delete is done, we cannot get them back.
- Pay any open invoice. We cannot delete an account that owes money. That would be unfair to other creators.
How to delete
- Go to Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Click Delete account.
- Type DELETE in the box to confirm.
- Click the red button.
We send a code to your email. Type the code in. The delete starts.
What gets removed right away
- Your name, email, and password.
- Any cards on file.
- Any active two-factor setup.
- Your connection to your OnlyFans page (the token stops working).
What goes away over the next 30 days
- All your campaigns.
- Your match history.
- Your credit ledger.
- Your notifications.
- Your saved settings.
We use a 30-day window so that, if you change your mind, you can come back and recover. Just sign in with your old password within those 30 days. After 30 days, nothing can be brought back.
What we have to keep
Some things we are required by law to keep, for a fixed time:
- Invoices and receipts. Tax law in most places says we have to hold these for a few years.
- Anti-fraud records. If a card was charged back, we keep that note.
These records are stripped of personal data we do not need. Your email becomes "deleted-user-XYZ", for example. They are not part of ShoutXChange any more.
After the legal window ends, those go too.
What about other creators' records?
If you traded with @velvet, your name shows on her trade history as "@aurora. Closed trade". After you delete, that line becomes "deleted user. Closed trade". Her math stays correct, but you are no longer tied to her records.
I deleted by mistake. Can I undo it?
If you sign back in within 30 days, yes. Click "Cancel delete". Your data comes back like nothing happened. After 30 days, no.
Is there a fee?
No. Delete is free. There is no penalty for leaving.
