Cancelling a campaign

How to safely stop or pause a running campaign, and what happens to live trades.

Updated April 15, 2026

If you need to stop a campaign, you have two options: pause and cancel. Here is the difference.

Pause

Pause stops new matches but lets the ones already in flight finish.

  • Use this when you have a busy week and just need a breather.
  • Trades that already started keep going. You still get the fans you are owed.
  • We do not look for new partners while paused.
  • You can unpause any time with one click.

Cancel

Cancel ends the campaign for good.

  • Use this when you do not want this trade plan any more.
  • New matches stop right away.
  • Trades already in flight wind down at the next clean stop point. We do not send any more shoutouts after you confirm cancel.
  • Fans we already delivered count. Fans we did not deliver are not charged.
  • You can start a new campaign any time after.

How to do it

  1. Click Campaigns.
  2. Click the campaign you want to stop.
  3. Click Pause or Cancel.
  4. Confirm.

What about my partner?

Your partner gets a polite note that says the trade is winding down. We do not show your reason. We do not let them argue with you. The system handles it.

If the trade was almost done, the system tries to count any last-minute fans within a 24-hour window. After that, the books close.

Will my trust score drop?

Pausing does not hurt your trust score. Cancelling once in a while does not either.

What does hurt your score is cancelling many trades while they are mid-flight. That signals that you are not a reliable partner. If your score drops a lot, we match you with fewer creators, and it gets harder to grow.

If you have to cancel often because of a real-life thing. A death in the family, a hospital stay, a move. Message us. We can pause your account and protect your score.

Can I get my credits back?

Credits you spent on a fan we already delivered stay spent. Credits set aside for a fan we did not deliver come back to your balance the moment cancel is final. The math evens out.
